BEAM LINE SEQUENCE OF OPERATION:
The WHITNEY BEAM
LINE model 790-3 MBL features:
Two (2) 100 ton hydraulic FLANGE PRESSES that punch or lay-out both legs of the TOP-FLANGE in one pass. The flange gage is measured from either side of the web with allowance for the thickness of the web.
One (1) 100 ton hydraulic WEB-PRESS is used to either punch holes or lay them out in the web. The web holes are
gauged from the outside of the flange and standard AISC connections can be obtained with the 18 deep throat. The web-gage is measured with direct tape display The web-press carrier incorporates a counter balancing system that allows the press to float vertically to three positions, - die up, stripper down, and center for feeding.
