Steelmax Abrasive Belt grinders are heavy-duty industrial-grade grinders for roughing and finishing of all types of metal.  Powerful 3 phase motors producing 3000 rpm quickly and efficiently tackle all your grinding needs.  Production can be achieved in a fraction of the time required by conventional hand grinding methods and eliminates the use of expensive grinding wheels.  Operator can select from two grinding areas of either small piece front end grinding or the top mounted large surface grinding table.  Flexible tilting design allows for optimum working position on either grinding surface.  Abrasive belt changing can be quickly accomplished with tool-free belt release mechanism.  Safety features include emergency stop with motor brake, belt spark arrestor, adjustable safety shield, motor overload protection and optional dust extraction.
