The stabilizer guides the
cold saw blade, so as to prevent "run-out" when the cold saw blade engages the material being sawn, even at acute miters. This system ensures the squareness of cut, which has been a trademark of
the Trennjaeger Cold Saw.
The cold saw blade stabilizers are adjustable and also will swing out of the way to allow quick exchange of the
cold saw blade.
The quality of the finished cut, that is the smoothness of the sawn surface, is unsurpassed due to the provision for a pin type chip removal system. The adjustable chip remover mounts perpendicularly to the
cold saw blade and engages the gullets of the cold saw blade's teeth.
As the blade rotates, the pins clear the chips lodged in the teeth of the blade. Re-cut (or the carrying of waste material back into the cut) is thereby prevented. The quality of the surface finish is preserved, while the maximum speed of blade feed can be achieved.
