Ocean Machinery proudly announces a software alliance with StrucSoft Solutions for providing Component Management Software (CMS) to users of both the SOLIDWORKS and INVENTOR CAD Detailing Software.
The ability to integrate this CMS Software module into SOLIDWORKS or INVENTOR CAD allows you to create DSTV files that can be transferred direct to your Ocean machines without having to recreate part profiles using Peddinghaus’ Peddimat programming software.
CMS is a dedicated DSTV-CNC reader, editor and writer. You can create a DSTV-CNC file by defining the steel members along with the modifications required directly within the CMS graphical interface, or alternatively, in the case of Inventor or Solidworks, CMS allows your Detailer to pick steel parts within INVENTOR or within SOLIDWORKS and generate a DSTV-CNC file. Detailers may READ an existing DSTV file; EDIT it graphically, and SAVE it.
- CMS can convert an existing DSTV-CNC file to a DXF file.
- Stand alone CMS software supports drilling, interior and exterior contour cuts as well as marking and Stenciling.
- The SOLIDWORKS version of CMS supports drilling, inside cuts and outside contour cuts for all standard shapes.
- The INVENTOR version of CMS supports drilling and inside cuts for all shapes as well as outside contour cuts for plates.
