AMADA BAND
SAW BLADES |
CBK |
Amada Chip Breaker
Designed to reduced heat generated at increased chip load. With reduced
tooth stripping and breaking this equates to the lowest possible cost
per square inch of metal cutting. |
DUOS |
Amada HSS Bi-Metal Band Saw
Blade
Blade exclusively designed for the light-duty band sawing machines to
cover a wide range of cutting applications. No Break-in procedure is
necessary. |
CR |
Amada Carbide Circular Saw
Blade
Designed for accurate cuts at a higher cutting rate. This blade features
the highest quality sawing grade of carbide. |
BCTB |
Amada Multi-faceted Triple Chip
Carbide Blade
Designed exclusively for heat-resistant alloys, nickel-based alloys,
titanium alloys, and special cast tensile steels, all with high tensile
strength of over 142,000 psi. It features ultra-hard, diamond sharp
carbide tipped teeth that resist low thermal conductivity and abrasion
that can quickly break down conventional bi-metal type bands. |
CTB |
Amada Set Type Carbide Blade
Designed exclusively for heat-resistant alloys, nickel-based alloys,
titanium alloys, and special cast tensile steels, all with high tensile
strength of over 142,000 psi. It features ultra-hard, diamond sharp
carbide tipped teeth that resist low thermal conductivity and abrasion
that can quickly break down conventional bi-metal type bands. |
Aurora |
Amada Tin-Coated M-42 Bi-metal Blade
The Aurora bi-metal band saw blade has a titanium nitride coating. A
surface hardness of 2300 DPN (micro Vickers) means you have a band saw
blade with a surface hardness exceeding tungsten carbide. The lubricity
of the titanium nitride coating reduces the heat generation and
dramatically improves the abrasion resistance. |
Magnum HiLo |
Amada M-71 Bi-metal Blade
With its special alloying technology, Magnum Hi Lo achieves HRC70 tooth
hardness. It maintains positive cutting action and outlasts other blades
in production cutting of large-diameter, work hardening steels and
nickel-base super alloys with tensile strength of up to 164,000 psi. |
Magnum 71 |
Amada M-71 Bi-metal Blade
Ideal for cutting hard metals and has a tooth hardness of HRC70. The
blade was created using the latest technological advances in
high-strength tooth styles and features sharp wear-resistant edges. |
HiLo |
Amada M-42 Bi-metal Blade
The Hi-Lo blade features a high and low teeth height design and a
15-degree rake angle. The blade is ideal for cutting hard steels. |
Super HiLo |
Amada M-42 Bi-metal Blade
Combines the effective of the HI-LO design with a multi-set tooth
design. This design allows more cutting surfaces to be in the work piece
that increases cutting rates, improves surface finishes and extends
blade life. |
Sigma |
Amada M-42 Bi-Metal Blade
The SIGMA bi-metal blade features a patented combination of varying set
and tooth height that makes it especially effective when cutting larger
diameters. Each tooth is within a guaranteed tolerance of .001. A
special anti-fatigue blade material permits higher blade tension for the
straightest possible cut without compromising on long blade life. |
SGLB/SVGLB |
Amada M-42 Bi-metal Blade
The SGLB was designed to cover a broad range of cutting applications and
to provide maximum efficiency in sawing wear-resistant tool steels. The
blade's tough M-42 cobalt edge resists heat and abrasion, while the
varied pitch tooth form expands the ranges of sizes and shapes that can
be sawed successfully without changing blades. |
MGLB/MVGLB |
Amada Matrix Bi-metal Blade
The MGLB is best suited for cutting structural shapes, tubing and stacks
of mild steel pieces. The MGLB allows band saw machines to cut a wide
range of material sizes and shapes without requiring a change of blades.
Its tough high-speed steel teeth resist chipping, stripping and
abrasion. It can also tolerate the occasional improper speeds and feeds
that are often used by inexperienced saw operators. |
Protector |
Amada Matrix Bi-metal Blade
Protector provides long blade life and prevents tooth breakage,
eliminating excessive tooth stripping. It can withstand the shock of
interrupted cuts, allowing for heavier penetration for faster cutting
rates. Protector uses a broaching style set pattern designed to
eliminate pinching, which prevents the blade from binding the cut. |
EB-II |
| Amada Matrix Bi-metal Blade
The Eagle Beak II was designed specifically for cutting structural
steel, including I-beams, angle iron, channel and H-beams. The patented
alternating-pair tooth configuration reduces excess blade shock that
causes tooth chipping. One set of teeth is designed with a low back
height and a greater forward angle. They have a low cutting resistance
and fast cutting rates. To minimize blade shock and reduce tooth
chipping, a second pair of teeth stabilize the blade, acting as a
barrier that protects the rest of the blade from localized chipping.
Alternating these pairs of teeth produces an optimum combination of
blade
